How to add links
In Readz, you can add links to ANY ELEMENT or line of text. You can make your logo link back to your website, add internal links to pages or specific elements within your project, add backlinks to other sites, insert buy buttons that link to products in your store, or link to your social network pages.
Adding links to an element - default steps for most scenarios
- Select the element that will get the link
- On the left-side toolbar, click on the link icon
- URL link for external URLs, enter on keyboard to save
- Link to page to navigate to other pages in the project, enter on keyboard to save
- Double-click on the textbox element
- With your mouse cursor, highlight the text that will receive the link
- On the left-side toolbar, click on the link icon
- Select URL link for external URLs, hit enter on the keyboard to save
- Select the link to a page to navigate to any internal pages in the project, enter on the keyboard to save
Once you add a link to text, you may want to change the style of the now hyperlinked text. Click here to learn how to style text.
Design Tip:
Adding a link to text will make it turn blue and have an underline, but you can change the color and look of it in the Font Style menu.
