Forms

Readz offers different options for adding a form to your page: you can choose from one of our pre-built forms or create a custom one from scratch. You can use the Readz database to store the data gathered or use our Mailchimp or Infusionsoft integrations. If you are using Marketo, you can embed a Marketo form.
1. How to display your form
Your form can be integrated into the page layout or it can be displayed in a
pop up overlay
.
2. Adding a pre-built form
1. Open the Add Blocks panel by clicking on the second icon on the left side toolbar.
2. Expand the Forms category to find a list of pre-designed forms.
3. Select one and drag and drop it onto the page (or onto the
pop up
).
3. Creating a custom form
1. Open the Add Elements panel by clicking on the plus sign in the left side toolbar.
2. Scroll down to Forms and drag and drop the Empty Form element onto the page or
pop up
.
3. Drag and drop onto the Empty Form all the elements you wish to include in it (Text Input, Checkbox Input, Submit button, etc)
4. Select each element and edit it using Element Properties. You can change its name, type and whether or not it is a required field, and you can add placeholder text.
4. What happens when a user submits your Readz form?
When a user fills in the form, the information will be stored in a database. You can access this database from the left side menu on your Dashboard.

You can also add an email address to receive an email notification each time the form is submitted. To do this, select your form. Under Form Properties, check
Send email upon submission
and input your email address.
In the Form Properties panel, you can configure custom error messages, a message to display after the user submits the form, and an internal or external link to open.
5. Integrating your form with marketing automation tools

5.1. Integrating Mailchimp and Infusionsoft

To configure
Mailchimp
and Infusionsoft integrations, select the form and open the Form Properties panel.
