Where do I find the page index list? It’s located in the left-side toolbar. The What can I do with the page index list? Name elements. Click on the pencil icon and input the name you’d like to call this element, then hit the checkmark to save. Search elements. Search field is found at the top of the page index menu. Target and scroll to elements. Mouse over the element in the page index list. After 2 seconds, the page will scroll to that element. If you select the element in the page index list, it’ll also get selected on the page, and vice versa. Understand containment. You can see how elements are containing other elements. Show, hide, or collapse elements. Click on the eye-icon to toggle through show, hidden, and collapsed states of elements. More about the page index list.

To contrast, if you select on another element, you might see something like the below…
index4
Why did suddenly these other elements appear in this list? You selected element in this case is not on the page level, rather it’s an element that’s contained within another element. And the view you see now is not only the selected element, which is highlighted in pink, but also the other elements that are on the same level, meaning contained within the same element. This is just a hierarchical overview of the elements on the page.
