How to Use In-App Messaging in Readz
The Readz in-app messaging feature is a great way to communicate with your team and with Readz support, whenever you need assistance.
This feature allows you to communicate with your team or with us, without ever leaving our platform. You can even tag a specific element that you want a team member to look at, as well as attach a comment. In-app messaging can be found when you are logged into the Readz Design Studio. In the top-right of the design studio, you'll find an envelope icon. If you have unread messages, a number will appear to the left of your envelope displaying the number of messages you have. You will also receive an email notification of your new in-app notifications (you can disable emails if you prefer, which is found under account info). When you click on the envelope, you’ll see the names of people that you have open conversations with. To send a new in-app chat, click the purple button at the bottom that says “SEND A NEW MESSAGE”. You can choose to send a message to one team member or to all members on the project. If you need any assistance from the Readz team, you can message Readz Support. With this in-app messaging feature, you can upload files and attach links to your conversations. If you want to discuss a specific image element for example, select the element and attach it to your in-app message. The person who receives your in-app notifications may need to click "Select element" after they click "Open in editor" to navigate to that element.
